Victoria Veterans Council approved our “Teaching children Anzac history with craft activity” for events and schools in Greater Dandenong area.

We are embracing to bring it to a state / nationwide project that need your help to make our dream come true. This is our Art & education project.

Our idea is simple :

The ANZAC symbol used in our application is strange to many, specially to new settlers and new migrants.
To them ANZAC simply a holiday with banks, public offices, large stores, schools . . . closed; worker getting pay without having to work.

We want to make ANZAC symbol to become a friendly & familiar like that of Santa Clause.

Teaching children history with craft activities is an art.

Giving them Australian patriotism is the most importance so that they will contribute to the growth and security of our nation, and be ready to sacrifice their lives to protect our country when needed.

This is the mission of all educators.

Our school staff have experience in delivery similar activities with Australian Identity project in council events and community festivals.

With Anzac symbol in hands, school principals and teachers should think about how to use the tool available. Hoping that you will share our dream in seeing school bands compete with each other in Australia Day & Anzac Day marching with our ANZAC Lanterns.
