To teachers

Be Australian, for Australia

Be preparing for 2015 Australia Day & Anzac Day
The first 2015 flag rising ceremony in your schools.

Before 2014 ending day, let’s your students decorate their classrooms and be ready for the school first 2015 flag rising ceremony & Australia Day celebration with Anzac Lanterns to give your students a special citizenship lesson.

It is a craft activity that brings a new image to Australian history.
This project is for future generation, for strength, existence & development of Australia.
It involves communities, schools and people of all age.
It is strengthening citizen patriotism with Australia first in their mind.

After 100 years of Anzac biscuit, a new Anzac Lantern form is now added to mark Anzac spirit.

The lantern might be used with other events with your school band leading.

Victoria Veterans Council’s grant initiated our idea to nationwide project.

Your students will transform the blank BW cards into their arts works then stapling with Anzac cards to make lanterns.

The cost $1 dollar per student. (including postage delivery)

In Victoria, half of the cost is covered from DVA fund & from council support, and we would like to make it as examples for Anzac Centenary ART & Education project on nationwide large scale next year.

It is a life time opportunity for a citizen who wants to make his contribution to the country on Anzac Centenary. This project is aiming on 2015 Australia Day & Anzac Day to show the real work of Anzac Centenary Citizenship Lesson.

Victoria Veterans Council approved our “Teaching children Anzac history with craft activity” for events and schools in Greater Dandenong area.

We are embracing to bring it to a nationwide project that needs your help to make our dream come true.

The ANZAC symbol used in our application is strange to many, specially to new settlers and new migrants.
To them ANZAC simply a holiday with banks, public offices, large stores, schools . . . closed; worker getting pay without having to work.
We want to make ANZAC symbol to become a friendly & familiar like that of Santa Clause.
Teaching children history with craft activities is an art.
Giving them Australian patriotism is the most importance so that they will contribute to the growth and security of our nation, and be ready to sacrifice their lives to protect our country when needed.
This is the mission of all educators.

Anzac lanterns will have Anzac color symbol printed on one side, other side is student artwork as seen in enclosed photos

We will provide color Anzac cards an coloring cards to a number of primary schools to help teachers and principals carrying ANZAC CENTENARY historic lessons interestingly. We expect the Anzac lanterns will be used as early on Australia Day or later on Anzac Day.

The lanterns will be served as waving flags on ceremonies and in marching parade: not only to persons in the troops, but to the audiences as well.

With Anzac lanterns in hands, school principals and teachers should think about how to use the tool available. Hoping that you will share our dream in seeing school bands compete with each other in Australia Day & Anzac Day marching with our ANZAC lanterns.

LANTERN MARCHING on important events is also a practical idea: a group of volunteers erect lanterns on hanging lines ready to distributing to on-spot people.

At the age of 67 with few years left for living my active life, I am racing against the time before my energy exhausted. I hope that I can contribute something to my beloved Australia.
